Fiction Clemens is a sci-fi/western with a pinch of psychadelia. The story began as a dare when the author's friend suggested he write a story about a man named "Fiction Clemens". Josh wrote the original short story in 1998 and then put the characters into his first novel which was published in 2004. The full story of Fiction Clemens developed around 2003 and was adapted into a screenplay in 2004. The comic script extends the screenplay to do all the things that the low-budget movie idea wanted to do, but couldn't.

Ape Entertainment recently picked up Fiction Clemens for publication! The first-issue is scheduled to be released at the New York Comic Con in April 2008. The full story will take place over three 48 page full-color issues, on shelves in May, June, and July of 2008.
